Michael Wright

Michael attended Florida State University starting in 1987 and pursued a double major in Economics and Political Science, preparing him for a challenging career in the financial services industry. Michael served as a financial advisor and vice president with Merrill Lynch for five years, where he managed corporate and municipal assets and provided a series of public speaking forums to involve individuals in estate planning and charitable giving. Michael advised and managed assets for such corporations as McDonald's and Office Depot, as well as for high net worth individuals.

Michael later went to work doing similar work for Smith Barney Solomon as a senior vice president and financial advisor for three years. Over his eight years of financial advisement, Michael managed over $250,000,000 in assets.

He sold his business in 1996 at the age of 27 and has spent the past three years traveling and has been involved in a number of start-up companies.

Having been blessed from a financial standpoint, Michael would like to devote his energies in the field of philanthropy to ensure that the future generations of our country understand the importance of giving to one another.
